Yamada sat fidgeting. He held a box of chocolates in his hands. Across the room, Nakajima Yuto stood mingling with the other juniors.

Just go, Yamada. He thought to himself. But his feet just wouldn't budge.

Suddenly, a voice interrupted his thoughts. "Hi, Yamada-kun." It was Shintaro, Morimoto's younger brother. "Whatcha up to?"

"Hey, Shintaro," Yamada hid the chocolates behind his back. "Betsuni," he lied.

Not fooled by the older boy's tricks, Shintaro informed, "You know. Just because I'm only 8, doesn't mean I'm oblivious to the whole Valentine's Day thing."

Yamada stared in what looked like astonishment. "Where'd you learn the word 'oblivious'?"

A sigh escaped Shintaro. "I just said. Just because I'm only..."

He was cut off by a friendly figure appearing beside him. "What are my friends up to on this lovely day?" Yuto leaned on Shintaro's shoulder. "Haha, realize the pun? You know, I used 'lovely' and it's Valentine's Day. Hahahaha!" He laughed at his own joke. The two others just stared at him.

"Tough crowd," he complained. "Anyways, what's up?"

"Um...um..." Yamada stammered.

"I think Ryutaro is calling me," Shintaro started across the room. "Coming, oniichan!"

As they watched the Morimoto brothers give eachother high fives, Yuto noticed the item behind Yamada's back. "What's that?" he asked.

I suck at hiding skills. Yamada thought. "Um...it's...for you!" He retrieved the chocolates and handed it to the other boy.

"Really?" Yuto blushed. "Thank you."

That only made Yamada blush as well. He watched as the box was opened and Yuto picked out a heart-shaped chocolate. "Itadaikimasu," Yuto said and popped the chocolate into his mouth. "This is..." he made a squished face.

"How is it?" the apprehensive boy asked. The tips of his lips started to curl into a smile.

"It's..." Yuto started as he chewed the treat. "...interesting."

At that moment, Inocchi entered the room. He ventured his way towards the two friends. "Kouhai!" he greeted and turned to Yamada. "Yamada-kun, where's that chocolate I gave you earlier? The one from the Hyakushiki show."

Yamada looked horror-struck. "Um..." He nervously pointed to the other boy as he stood up, ready to escape the wrath that was brewing inside Yuto. "...with Yuto." Instantly, he ran across the room and out the door.

Morimoto Ryutaro stared, confused at what just happened. "What was that all about?" Shintaro shrugged.

"YAMADAAAAA!" Yuto yelled and chased after him.

"I take that shrug back," Shintaro laughed.

Concluding A/N: Don't get it? Watch the latest Hyakushiki show (or read what follows). In the latest show, the members of the show were given some chocolate to eat (more like drink). Once Yamada's tongue came into contact with the taste of the chocolate, he...let's say, flipped out. Haha, I guess he was disgusted. I imagine the chocolate was bitter or something. But Yamada didn't seem to enjoy it. And that's the chocolate Yamada gave to Yuto in the story. Get it now?
