Music Station 2006.06.02

A few months ago, Yamashita Tomohisa performed Daite Senorita on Music Station. This was his second time doing so. Kamenashi Kazuya (formerly in the group Shuuji to Akira with Yamapi) came to support him. Aww, now isn't that sweet?

Halfway through the performance, someone appears on stage. Was it a staff member? No. An ecstatic fan? Nu-uh. It was none other than Kamenashi Kazuya!

That was enough to make my heart go doki-doki all over the place. Totally unexpected. Even Yamapi didn't know Kame was going to show up, let alone in the middle of his performance.

And there were so many things to love:
  1. Shuuji to Akira!
  2. Kame has no idea how the dance to Daite Senorita goes, huh? I don't either, but that's not the point here! Oh well, the dance to Seishun Amigo took over the second half of the performance. Good thing the backdancers didn't move around too much.
  3. Speaking of backdancers, I spot a couple of ABC and Kis-My-Ft2 members...

First up: Kitayama Hiromitsu. From his expression, I think he was the last to realize Kame was on stage. And even then, he looked confused. When he turned around and looked to his right, he had a who-is-that look plastered on his face. Also, he somewhat slowed down in the dance. When he finally realized it was Kame, he smiled and picked up speed.

And yet another reason to love this performance: After watching this a few times, I turned my attention to the smiling boys in the back. There was Tsukada Ryoichi (ABC), Fujigaya Taisuke (KMF2), and others. Whether it's the main performer or just a backdancer, it's always nice to see a smile. Just goes to show that they're enjoying what they're doing.

And more smiling. From those boys in the back and Yamapi. Kame must be smiling as well, he's just turned around.

To end this, I must declare this performance my most favorite performance on Music Station. Yamapi did fantastic, Kame was so sweet to motivate his fellow friend, and smiling backdancers are ♥♥♥. What's there not to like?
