Shounen Club 2007.09.09

Ze latest Shounen Club! I skimmed through it and here's what I've got to say:

- Hooooly crap. I think it's safe to say Koki's Make U Wet performance was hotter than Jin's Pinky performance last week? I dunno. Pinky is sooo hot already, but Koki man. That dude amazes me. And it's a bit weird to watch him perform that song and then here comes along the cute side of him during the talk afterwards. XD

- The Nekketsu Battle or whatever the thing is called is the most hilarious thing ever! No kidding. Kawai is so amazing; no wonder he's my favorite ABC member. =D Oh, did anyone notice how Nakamaru and Koyama looked over to him once Arashi's Wish started playing. And when the others finally realized what the song was, these huge smiles appeared on their faces like Hikaru here who slid off his chair! XD As for the other Ya-Ya-yah boys: Shoon gets points for being cute! Even if he didn't pay attention and ended up repeating what Totsu had said the first time around. XD Poor Yabu for always getting beat when running up to the buzzer, but hooray to Taiyo for guessing the TOKIO song correctly! Whoo~ Fijugaya's voice is reaaaally nice. So is Kawai's, but Fujigaya's is so soothing. ♥♥

- Miyata. Miyata. Miyata. Idek what to say about this guy. I love the way he stands at the beginning; getting read to sing? XD Also, it's good to have a nice laugh even if you pretty much don't understand anything and everything. XD

- What else? What else? Oh yeaaah, how could I forget Ya-Ya-yah's Baby Babe! Now let me tell you, I don't usually like new Johnny's Jr. songs the first time around with the exception of a few such as Kis-My-Me-Mine and of course Bon Bon. Idek why that is, but that's just the way it goes. Anyway, Baby Babe was one of those exceptions. I love the fact that the song is not just centered around Yabu and Hikaru - as it usually is - but rather, the entire group. Yabu gets some spotlight, Hikaru gets some spotlight, and finally! Shoon and Taiyo get their share of the spotlight. Very, very nice!

- The last song is Hurricane again? XD I swear, the official ending songs of Shounen Club have been narrowed down to Hurricane and Vanilla ~Burn It Up!~. But I guess it's understandable seeing as it's easy to incorporate all groups into each song. Eeeh.
